St. George,

I am broadly interested in both pedagogy and applied philosophy, with more dedicated interests in bioethics widely construed. In particular, I’m really interested in exploring how various personal and societal afflictions can affect our abilities to construct self-narratives, and what that might mean for theories of identity and autonomy. On the side, I’ve been thinking a lot about what social media and new technologies (especially selfies) might be able to tell us about personal identity.

I’m also enrolled in the Collaborative Program in Bioethics through the Joint Centre for Bioethics in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
