Gabriel has lived in Toronto almost all of his life, with a brief stint in Australia between the ages of four and six. He has been involved in competitive athletics for most of his life, but his athletic focus now lies in training for competitive weightlifting.

Although Gabriel is interested in diversifying the sectors of philosophy with which he engages, he is particularly interested in biomedical ethics, the philosophy of law (and the resulting public policy decisions), formal logic, and the philosophy of language.

After his MA, Gabriel intends on pursuing either (1) a PhD in philosophy, perhaps via a joint degree, or (2) another sector-specific degree.
