Biography:
Jovy is a PhD candidate with primary research interest in social and political philosophy. More specifically, her dissertation investigates conformity bias and our tendency to herd. Employing tools from game theory, social epistemology, and probability models, she explores ways in which society as a whole can make better decisions and change suboptimal norms.
Before coming to Toronto, Jovy worked as a solicitor in Hong Kong.
