Melissa is broadly interested in epistemology as it relates to psychology (e.g. how to individuate mental states), and social epistemology (social modeling and especially feminist epistemology). She also has a background in phenomenology and existentialism, in particular Heidegger, Nietzsche, and Merleau-Ponty. Melissa is becoming increasingly interested in contemporary philosophy of perception and mind.
