Tyra’s primary research interests fall into the realm of philosophy of law and political philosophy. In particular, Tyra is interested in punishment theory, philosophy of criminal law, and political legitimacy. Tyra also has secondary interest in feminist philosophy and ancient philosophy. Currently, Tyra is working on a paper critiquing Victor Tadros’ duty view and will likely talk your ear off about it. Outside of lecture, Tyra spends her time climbing trees, eating donuts, and playing in a folk band!
