Congratulations to Arthur Ripstein on his promotion to the rank of University Professor. University Professor is the highest professorial rank at the University of Toronto and it is usually reserved to less than two per cent of the tenured faculty. This is a great honour for Arthur and the two disciplines represented in his outstanding work: Philosophy and Law!
