Philosophy Undergraduates Being Published
The Department of Philosophy is pleased to announce that a number of Undergraduate students, Monica Barbir, Liron Taub and Mark Thomson, have had work recently been published in various Undergraduate Philosophy Journals.
Monica’s paper, “Moore's Paradox: Use, Implicature, and Cause,” was published in the Spring 2010 edition of Aporia, the undergraduate journal of philosophy at Brigham Young University.
Liron also had an article published in the same edition of Aporia, entitled “Breaking the Turing Test”. In addition, Liron’s essay “Delirium, Particularity, Analytics, and Abraham” appeared the the first edition of Perceptia, the undergraduate philosophy journal hosted by the McMaster University Philosopher’s Society.
Mark Thomson, currently an Undergraduate Fellow at U of T’s Jackman Humanities Institute, saw his work entitled “Defining Quasijudgements” published in Pensées, the Canadian Undergraduate journal of philosophy. This publication also features an interview with one of our own faculty members, Joseph Heath.
