The Philosophy Department is pleased to note that Lecturer Wolfram Eilenberger is this year’s winner of the Mindelheim Philosophy Prize, which includes prize money of 5,000 Euros.

A jury consisting of students from the ’Maristenkolleg Mindelheim’ chose his book “Philosophie für alle, die noch etwas vorhaben” (“Philosophy for all those who still have something on their minds” )(publisher: Berlin Verlag, 2005).

The Mindelheim Philosophy Prize focuses on literature for young people between childhood and early adulthood, specifically literature intended to shape their critical minds.

In addition to lecturing in philosophy, Wolfram Eilenberger also works as a journalist for various newspapers and magazines, such as “Die Zeit” , “Süddeutsche Zeitung”, and “Cicero“.

Congratulations, Wolfram!
