Biography:

Abhi is a master’s student in the Department of Philosophy. Having completed his undergraduate degree in Physics and Philosophy, Abhi grew interested in learning about the conditions that shape the possibility for scientific knowledge. His studies in philosophy of science, alongside his interest in continental philosophy, brought him to phenomenology, which helped him demarcate the possibility for scientific knowledge, and also widen his horizons to include other phenomena of interest such as selfhood and consumer identity. He is currently engaged in weighing the merits and drawbacks of various phenomenological accounts of the self (with a special focus on Husserl and Arendt).

His hobbies outside philosophy include electronic music, tennis, and camping.
