Austin’s interest falls in the areas of Kant, German Idealism, Kierkegaard, Heidegger, Wittgenstein, and Cavell. His research is guided by questions concerning God, transcendence/immanence, subjectivity, and how we make sense of things. Of additional interest are topics in contemporary philosophy of religion and epistemology.
