In Islamic philosophy, Celia’s main focus is on Avicenna’s metaphysics and its influence on Mediaeval and Early Modern thought. As for the philosophy of science, she is most interesting in interpretations of quantum mechanics and the causal status of natural selection (is it a force like gravity or just a statistical description of organism level causes?). In her non-philosophical life, Celia is a big fan of the theatre, ballet, yoga, and cats.
