My current research focuses on the 18th century notion of a ground, focusing on how the difference between epistemic and metaphysical accounts of this concept gave rise to certain problems that Kant’s critical philosophy sought to solve. I am also very interested in a number of issues in contemporary metaphysics, centering around the application of hyperintensional notions, such as fundamentality, grounding, and truth-making.
