Kamil’s research interests revolve principally around the history of medieval philosophy, especially 14th- and early 15th-century metaphysics (realism and nominalism about the Aristotelian categories, metaphysics of artifacts) and its intersection with natural philosophy (final causality and teleological explanations). He also has a vivid interest in still later scholastic philosophy and its influence upon early modern philosophy.
