Kye completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, specializing in philosophy, mathematics, and the history and philosophy of science. Initially drawn to the physical sciences, Kye began his undergraduate degree as a physics student. His interests shifted after taking courses in the history and philosophy of science, which remain his main interests as a graduate student. Within philosophy, Kye is interested in pragmatism, the philosophy of logic, probability, and many metaphysical topics related to scientific theories. Kye is also interested in studying the history of science through the lens of formal epistemology, and in visualizing scientific belief systems.
