DESCRIPTION:Undergraduates\, comes join us for a two-hour introduction to the Department of Philosophy at U of T’s St. George campus. Highlights of the event include \n\nwords of welcome from Martin Pickavé\, the department’s chair\na brief overview of undergraduate studies in the Department of Philosophy by Mike Miller\, director of undergraduate studies\na quick survey of the department’s ethics offerings by Gwen Bradford\, a professor in the department who works on value theory and normative ethics\nintroductions from members of the Philosophy Course Union (PCU)\, the department’s undergraduate student association\, giving a sneak peek of events in the year to come\nintroductions from members of the editorial collective of Noēsis\, the department’s undergraduate philosophy journal\na short info session about the PHL1 program\n\nCome with all your questions!
