Two weeks ago, Alexandra Gustafson, a current PhD student in the department and the current co-chair of the Graduate Philosophy Students’ Union (GPSU) newly established Mental Health & Disability Caucus, returned to The College of Wooster, her alma mater in Ohio. She spoke to undergraduates about her research project on the philosophy of love and later answered some questions for the Wooster Voice, the college’s official student newspaper. Read the article to hear Alexandra not only discuss the importance of how love makes us feel but also bust the myth that philosophy evades the everyday to focus only on “blackboards of logic and . . . dead Greeks.”
