Currently underway in Denver is the American Philosophical Association (APA) 2019 Central Division Meeting, and quite a few scholars affiliated with our department will be presenting. Michael Barkarsi will be speaking on “The Role of Visual Representations in Seeing,” Evan Westra on “Knowledge of Character: Reliable Trait Attribution and the Situationist Challenge,” and Lu-Vada Dunford on “A Pragmatist Approach to Defining Terrorism.” Also speaking or commenting will be Ronald de Sousa, Aaron HenryJacob Stump, and Alasdair Urquhart. Take a look at the full program for more information.

We are especially proud of Jennifer Nagel, elected president of the APA’s Central Division only last year, who will be giving her presidential address, titled “Epistemic Territory,” on Friday, February 22, at 5:15pm MST.
