Rashad Rehman Wins Outstanding Graduate Student Paper Award for 2020 CPP Conference

PhD student Rashad Rehman has received the Outstanding Graduate Student Paper Award for the 2020 Annual Concerned Philosophers for Peace (CPP) Conference for his essay “Pieper’s Defense of Aquinas on Peace.” The yearly conference had been rescheduled to January of this year from October 2020 because of the current coronavirus pandemic. Rashad shares the honour of Outstanding Paper Award with Dakota Layton (University of Mississippi). Congratulations to Rashad on this achievement!

Concerned Philosophers for Peace, founded in 1981, has become the largest, most active organization of professional philosophers in North America involved in the analysis of the causes of war and prospects for peace. The organization holds an annual conference as well as programs at each divisional meeting of the American Philosophical Association.
