The 2018 Graduate Research Weekend officially begins Friday, March 16 at 4 pm, in JHB Room 417, with a wine and cheese reception. Prospective graduate students will meet existing graduate students and faculty. The reception, as well as all weekend events, are invite-only and not open to the public.
On Saturday, March 17, the schedule of events is as follows:
9:45 am coffee and muffins in JHB 100A
10:15 am-12:00 Jacob Weinrib, Queen’s University Law School, (PhD Toronto 2013): “The Puzzle of the State”; comments by Manish Oza, JHB100
12:00 Lunch, location TBA
2:15 pm-4:00 pm Janette Dinishak, University of California Santa Cruz (PhD Toronto 2008): “Autism, Aspect-Perception, and Neurodiversity”; comments by Caitlin Hamblin, JHB100
4:00 pm-7:00 pm Free time to explore city
