Alex Drusda is a PhD Candidate in the Philosophy Department. He works primarily at the intersection of German Idealism and social and political philosophy. His dissertation clarifies the precise role Hegel’s logical method plays in the arguments of the Philosophy of Right. Alex has related interests in the political philosophy and political economy of German Idealism, and the uptake of “dialectics” and other Hegelian concepts in post-Hegelian thought.
