Biography:

Hojo is a PhD student in the Department of Philosophy interested in the ways in which human finitude is cashed out in different philosophical systems and the implications this has for their conceptions of truth, the possibility of knowledge, and our relation to morality. She is especially drawn to Spinoza, Kant, and the German Idealist tradition for thinking through these issues.

Outside of Philosophy, Hojo also finds playing the piano and strolling about agreeable. Her favourite faculties currently include reason and the imagination.
