Juan Andrés is a PhD candidate in the Philosophy Department at the University of Toronto. My primary research interests are Kant and post-Kantian philosophy, especially Frühromantik, Fichte, Schelling, Hegel, and Marx, as well as the connections between German philosophy and the traditions of philosophy of language influenced by Wittgenstein and pragmatism. My master’s thesis examined Hegel’s reception of Kant’s transcendental apperception. My current research explores connections between Hegel’s Science of Logic, internal realism, and inferential semantics within analytic philosophy.
