Biography:
• BA (Hons), Philosophy, University of Warwick
Noa is a PhD student in the Department of Philosophy. Her main research interests lie in 18th-/19th-century philosophy (chiefly Kant, and his reception), ethics and moral psychology, and the philosophy of religion. She is especially interested in issues surrounding free will, moral motivation and self-knowledge, and akrasia—and in Kant’s resources for tackling them. Noa’s interests also encompass topics in metaphysics and psychoanalysis.
Before joining the department in the fall of 2024, Noa completed her BA in Philosophy at the University of Warwick, UK. Aside from philosophy, she enjoys creative writing, film, and rereading the works of Thomas Hardy.
