Biography:

Sebastian is a PhD student in the Collaborative Specialization in Ancient and Medieval Philosophy (CSAMP). His research interests are in ancient ethics and politics. The title of his undergraduate thesis was “Are Virtue and Vice Up to Us? A Study of Nicomachean Ethics III.5.” The whole span of ancient and medieval philosophy is of interest to him, in particular the ethical and political thought of Plato, Aristotle, Seneca, Augustine, and Aquinas. Outside the department, Sebastian enjoys running and visiting art museums.
