The philosophers that intrigue Valerie the most are Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Emmanuel Levinas and Jacques Derrida. Valerie comes to philosophy with a minor in French literature. She studied philosophy and French literature at the University of New Brunswick in her hometown of Fredericton. Outside of her academic pursuits, Valerie has a deep interest in astronomy, personal psychology, and eastern spirituality.
