A central theme of Nick’s research is the exploration of epistemic harms, especially with respect to testimony and collective phenomena. He is currently working on projects that focus on the practice of blame avoidance and the role of epistemic blame, the notion of epistemic alienation, and the role of testimony in the philosophy of education. Nick’s teaching experience spans across a wide range of areas in philosophy, including epistemology, ethics, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, philosophy of sport, and introductory courses. Central to his teaching philosophy is how to foster a collaborative learning environment while providing students with experiential, transformative, and community-engaged learning opportunities.
