Boris Babic has a joint appointment in the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Statistics. Before coming to Toronto, he was an assistant professor in the Decision Sciences Department at INSEAD and, previous to that, a postdoctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology.
His primary research interests are in (a) questions in Bayesian inference and decision-making and (b) normative questions in the implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
