Jason’s research focuses on the intersection of philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, and epistemology in Plato’s work and its implications for philosophical conversation. Prior to his dissertation, his studies centered on ethical themes (happiness, work, courage), particularly in Plato and Aristotle. Jason likes to approach philosophical questions in light of both contemporary and historical perspectives, and he believes strongly in the value of discussing philosophy with non-philosophers.
