John is an MA student focusing on the philosophy of science. Given his background in electromagnetic theory, John is particularly interested in the role symmetry plays in modern physics, and its status as a robust metaphysical entity. Moreover, John is interested in the use of symmetry in political philosophy, drawing inspiration from the Platonist tradition.
Outside of philosophy John enjoys barbecuing and shamelessly promoting his band.
