Biography:

  • BA (Hons), Contemporary Studies and Philosophy, University of King’s College

Kyle is an MA student in the Department of Philosophy. He completed his undergraduate studies in Philosophy and Contemporary Studies at Dalhousie University and the University of King’s College, respectively. His principle research interests include the philosophy of science and the philosophy of language. He is particularly concerned with questions about kinds of explanations in the social sciences. In both of these fields, his methodology is influenced by the work of Ludwig Wittgenstein. He maintains a strong secondary interest in continental philosophy, especially as it relates to social criticism.

Outside of philosophy, Kyle enjoys literary fiction, creative writing, and film.
