Marissa is primarily interested in issues at the intersection of metaphysics, philosophy of science, and philosophy of mathematics. Specific topics of interest to her include the metaphysics of quantity, mathematical explanation in science, and the distinction between mathematical structure and physical structure. She is also interested in the nature of mathematical truth, and its relationship with physical modality.
