Biography:

  • MA (Philosophy), University of Toronto

Munema completed her undergraduate studies at McGill University in Cognitive Science and then moved on to a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Western University, before deciding to pursue philosophy academically. As a master’s student in our program, her research interests lay with South Asian and Islamic philosophy, which she now continues to pursue as a PhD student with us. Outside of philosophy, she is passionate about healthcare and rehabilitation.
