Biography:

Rasmus Rosenberg Larsen is cross-appointed in the Forensic Science Program at UTM and the Department of Philosophy at St. George. His academic work lies at the intersection of psychology, philosophy, and law, with research published in top-tier journals such as The Lancet: Psychiatry; Psychology, Public Policy, and LawPhilosophical Psychology; and Erkenntnis. In the Department of Philosophy, Rasmus primarily teaches graduate-level courses in Philosophy of Science (e.g., PHL2196 or PHL2198).

Rasmus is the author of the book, Psychopathy Unmasked: The Rise and Fall of a Dangerous Diagnosis (forthcoming in June 2025 from MIT Press), which offers a critical review of contemporary research and the judicial use of the controversial diagnosis commonly known as Psychopathic Personality Disorder or “psychopathy”.
