Yiting (pronounced somewhat similar to the English word eating) is a PhD student primarily working on continental and Chinese philosophy. He is also interested in metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, the philosophy of mind, metaphilosophy, and more. Some topics that interested Yiting in his undergrad—and still interest him now—are: ontological pluralism, ecology and technology, Heidegger and Daoist philosophy, and the methods of philosophy.

In his spare time, Yiting enjoys listening to music (classical, rock, and alternative—before deciding to go to grad school in philosophy, he seriously considered applying to East Asian Studies to do research on a contemporary Taiwanese rock star named Bobby Chen), reading novels, and just doing nothing.
