Colloquium (C. Thi Nguyen, Utah)

As speaker for our second Spring 2025 colloquium, the department is delighted to welcome C. Thi Nguyen, an associate professor of Philosophy at the University of Utah. Dr. Nguyen, a former food writer, writes about trust, art, games, and communities, interested in the ways our social structures and technologies shape how we think and what we value. His book, Games: Agency as Art (Oxford University Press, 2020), won the American Philosophical Association’s 2021 Book Prize.
