Kant & Post-Kantian German Philosophy Group Talk (Samantha Matherne Harvard)

The newly established Kant & Post-Kantian German Philosophy Research Interest Group is pleased to welcome as a speaker Samantha Matherne, an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy at Harvard University. She works primarily in the history of philosophy, focusing on Immanuel Kant and his influence on Post-Kantian traditions, especially phenomenology and neo-Kantianism. Of special interest to her is how figures in these traditions conceive of the interrelations between perception and aesthetics.
