2017 Toronto Colloquium in Medieval Philosophy

His areas of interest include early modern philosophy (esp. Descartes, Spinoza, and Leibniz). Among his publications is Between Two Worlds: A Reading of Descartes's Meditations (Princeton University Press, 2008).
