Irregular Migrants, Refugees, and Open Borders: What Is to Be Done? (Joseph Carens, Toronto)

Philosophers for Peace welcomes Joseph Carens, professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. Dr. Carens’s  research interests are mainly focused on contemporary political theory, especially on issues related to immigration and political community. Professor Carens is an advocate of open borders, and often considered a leading ethical theorist in the field of immigration.
