Ethics and Political Philosophy Group Talk (Guy Kahane, Oxford)

The Ethics and Political Philosophy Group meets periodically throughout the year to discuss topics in value theory and related fields, including: meta-ethics, normative ethics, applied ethics, social and political philosophy, philosophy of law, moral psychology, practical reason, agency, and identity.

On Sept. 21st, the group welcomes Associate Professor Guy Kahane from the University of Oxford’s Department of Philosophy. Professor Kahane’s areas of specialization are practical ethics, ethics, and moral psychology, with a particular focus on meta-ethics, value theory, applied ethics, and the evolution, psychology, and neuroscience of morality.
