What is language? Q&A with Philippe Schlenker (NYU/Institut Jean Nicod, Paris)

Distinguished Visiting Professor Philippe Schlenker is NYU Global Distinguished Professor and Director of Research at the Institut Jean-Nicod in Paris, France. He will be visiting UTM on Wednesday for conversations with faculty and students.

He has published 89 journal articles and book chapters on topics ranging from monkey communication to the semantics of music.

This event is hosted by the UTM Philosophy Department and Undergraduate Philosophy Society, with support from the Jackman Humanities Institute. All welcome, free, refreshments will be served.
