We are delighted to announce six faculty promotions in the department, all of which will take effect on July 1, 2025.
Sara Aronowitz (St. George) and Tarek Dika (St. George) have both been promoted to associate professor with tenure, while Alex Koo (St. George) earned a promotion to associate professor in the Teaching Stream. Koo was also recently awarded an Outstanding Teaching Award–Early Career from the Faculty of Arts & Science.
Andrew Sepielli (UTM) and Owen Ware (UTM) were promoted to the rank of full professor.
In addition, Mike Miller, an associate professor on the St. George campus, will be taking over as director of undergraduate studies at St. George.
