Congratulations to our most recently minted PhDs! In April, Michael Kirley successfully defended “The Cognitive Conception of Intentional Action,” written under the supervision of Sergio Tenenbaum and Philip Clark. In the first half of May, his success was followed by that of Henry Krahn and Felix Lambrecht. Krahn brought to a close his work on “Protest as Holding Others Accountable,” supervised by Sophia Moreau; Lambrecht defended a thesis titled “Between Groups and across Time: A Relational Group-Based Account of Reparative Justice for Historical Injustice,” for which Arthur Ripstein had served as supervisor. The department is proud of their work and wishes them all the best in future endeavours.
