Professors Gurpreet Rattan and Byeong Yi were awarded multiyear SSHRC Insight Grants in 2019. Rattan’s project, “The Intellect and Its Limits,” explores the necessary, principled, limits of the intellect, which derive from the very idea of trying to attain an objective perspective on the world.” Yi’s “Semantic Relationism and the Relationist View of Propositions” investigates aspects of the contents of language and thought.
