The department is delighted to announce the recipient of the 2022 Martha Lile Love Teaching Award: Alexandra Gustafson received the honour for her outstanding work teaching PHL388  Literature and Philosophy. The committee was impressed with her course’s design, timely theme, approach to accessibility, and innovative lecture format. Alexandra joins a long list of award winners since 2012, the past five of which have included Kayla Wiebe (2021), Lu-Vada Dunford (2020), Emma McClure (2019), Douglas Campbell (2018), and Benjamin Wald (2017).

The department extends its appreciation to all graduate instructors for their excellent work this past year. Our undergraduates are fortunate to have such skilled and dedicated instructors.

A final thank-you goes out to David Dyzenhaus and Owen Ware for their work on the Martha Lile Love award committee this year.
