The Department of Philosophy is thrilled to announce that Robbie Matyasi successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on January 25, 2021, becoming the most recent PhD among our students. Robbie, who has taken on a number of roles in the department throughout the years, defended his thesis titled “Spinoza’s Metaphysics of the Finite: Composition, Essence, Modality,” completed under the supervision of Professor Karolina Hübner.
