It was already at the beginning of November that philosophers of science from across the globe gathered at Victoria College here at the University of Toronto for the fifth annual conference of the Society for the Metaphysics of Science, locally organized by the Department of Philosophy’s professors Michael Miller and Jessica Wilson, as well as Marissa Bennett, a PhD student in the department. Tahmeed Shafiq from the Varsity, U of T’s long-standing student newspaper, attended and recently wrote a perceptive article, titled “Philosophers of science from around the world come to U of T to puzzle over reality.” Check it out!
