Founded in 1998, Noēsis is our department’s journal of undergraduate philosophy, and they are now accepting submissions for their 20th edition. All undergraduate students from a Canadian university (or on exchange at a Canadian university) are invited to submit their best papers for publication. Submission guidelines and instructions can be found on the Noēsis website.

Noēsis provides a great opportunity for undergraduate students to have their work published and acquire experience in editing, peer review, and scholarly publishing. We especially encourage course instructors to let their undergraduate students know about this call for submissions.

A limited number of past issues of Noēsis are available in the joint Philosophy Course Union and Noēsis office (room 416 of the Jackman Humanities Building), and some PDFs of previously-published papers are available on the Noēsis website. You can also follow Noēsis on Facebook or Twitter.

We look forward to seeing the stellar and diverse work of Canadian undergraduate scholars in the next issue of Noēsis!
